*Prior to treatment some moles must be checked by a Doctor with a signed letter of consent. The Doctor must specify in their letter which skin lesions can be treated. The aim of the treatment is to visibly reduce the appearance of the mole. The mole will not be removed. The size of the mole will affect the amount of treatments required. The mole, once treated, will be smooth and nearer the level of the surrounding skin, although any pigmentation within the mole may not be reduced. A series of questions are asked during the consultation prior to treatment to ensure that the mole is safe to treat.
